The Turbomachinery Research Group at the University of Ferrara (TurboFe) acts in the field of turbo and fluid machinery and it is devoted to the development of research and didactic activities as well as to academic and industrial collaboration.

TurboFe has been active at the Department of Engineering in Ferrara since 2010, but the beginning of its activity dates back to 1994 through the pioneering work of prof. Bettocchi. TurboFe takes part in the activities of MechLav, a laboratory of the Technopole of Ferrara which belongs to the High Technology Network of Emilia Romagna.

TurboFe consists of Professors, Researchers and PhD Students. It comprises a wide range of facilities, such as experimental test rigs and computational resources, which allow the TurboFe staff to deliver world-class results in the focus topics of its activity.
